If you're a fan of classic German chocolate cake, you'll love this streamlined Oreo version. For the chocolate lover in your crowd, substitute chocolate frosting for the vanilla.

| 480 | ml | Vanilla frosting |
| 180 | ml | Flaked coconut |
| 180 | ml | Pecans, chopped |
| 90 | ml | Thick caramel ice cream topping |
| 12 | pc | Oreo cookies, fineley chopped |

Make the cake mix and bake it. Cool completely.

Mix frosting, coconut, pecans and caramel topping. Place 1 cake layer on serving plate; spread with half the frosting mixture. Top with half the chopped cookies, pressing gently into frosting.

Top with remaining cake layer; spread top with reaming frosting mixture. Sprinkle with remaining chopped cookies, pressing gently into frosting. Makes 12 servings.
